Jim Wright is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in helping adolescents and children deal with a variety of issues and struggles. His many years of experience have helped countless children to overcome issues and go on to live productive and fulfilling lives. He achieves this through individual, family and group therapy sessions. He allows his clients to use both verbal and non-verbal communication, utliizing the use of a sand tray when appropriate. His goal is to provide them with the necessary tools to successfully deal with the stressors of life.

   The Sexualization of America's Kids and How to Stop It

     Because some parenting issues are more significant than others and sensitive to approach, it helps to read up on the issue prior to talking about it with kids.
     My book, "The Sexualization of America's Kids and How to Stop It" is a resource, how-to book for parents of all teenagers and children. It describes the subtle yet pervasive, negative pressure we are all under in America today, and it outlines concrete steps to recognize and avoid this sexualized pressure. The second half of the book outlines the steps parents can use to facilitate a healthy family atmosphere as well as specific ways to address and educate your kids about love, relationships, and sexuality in appropriate and mature ways.
